PLEASE READ OUR STORE POLICIES PRIOR TO PLACING AN ORDER. BY PLACING AN ORDER YOU AGREE TO THE POLICIES OF BECAUSE I'M THE PRINCESS...THAT'S WHY! (AKA BITPTW)


SHIPPING/PAYMENT POLICIES:

**We ship via USPS Priority Mail, International Parcel Post Airmail (4-10 days), USPS International Global Express Mail (3-5 days), and UPS Ground, Express, and International. You, the customer, have the choice in shipping options.

**IMPORTANT! USPS HAS RAISED THEIR SHIPPING RATES (YET AGAIN). WE STILL ONLY CHARGE EXACT SHIPPING AND NEVER PROFIT ON YOUR SHIPPING!! IF THE SHOPPING CART CALCULATES OVER THE ACTUAL AMOUNT TO SHIP YOUR ITEM ONCE PACKED AND SHIPPED WE REFUND YOUR MONEY AND IF UNDER WE INVOICE YOUR FOR THE DIFFERENCE PRIOR TO SHIPPING YOUR ORDER. **USPS now offers Flat Rate shipping boxes that have a flat fee no matter how much the package weighs. If it is more cost effective and your products fit into the box we will ship your items in a USPS flat rate box and include the cost difference of shipping in your package if it is cheaper to ship this way.

**We ship Internationally & Canada. If the cart does not calculate the proper shipping amount we will contact you with the proper amount.

**Shipping costs are determined by the actual weight of the product. We only charge exact shipping amounts. Please be aware that sometimes the cart calculates the shipping over and shipping may seem very high. If it is ever over we always include the difference in your package or refund you via paypal and if the shipping amount is under the amount you paid we will invoice you for the difference. We are a small business and cannot afford to pay the difference if the cart undercharged and in order to keep our product costs down for you, the customer, we need collect the difference---even if it's fifty cents. If paying via paypal you will receive an additional invoice for the difference and if paying via credit card any shipping differences will be added onto the order total. If the cart undercharged and we send you a paypal invoice for the difference the products will not ship until that invoice is paid. If paying via credit card we just add the adjustment to the total and products ship right away.

**Insurance is the best method of protection for your products. Although we take extra special care to package your goodies properly we aren't responsible for these items once they leave our property. Since we can't follow the package through the shipping process many things might happen to it on it's trek to you. We are not responsible for the package once it leaves our property. We suggest everyone purchase Insurance on the package. It is an additional fee but worth the few extra dollars to ensure protection of your products. BITPTW is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. Please read more about USPS insurance on their website at www.usps.com FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS, INSURANCE RATES ARE AVAILABLE AS WELL IF YOUR ITEM IS SHIPPED VIA USPS INTERNATIONAL MAIL EXPRESS OPTION. YOU MUST SELECT THIS UNDER THE INSURANCE TAB TO THE LEFT. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES IF YOU DO NOT SELECT INSURANCE!! PLEASE NOTE THAT INTERNATIONAL INSURANCE IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON EXPRESS PACKAGES. IF YOU DO NOT CHOOSE EXPRESS AND DO NOT INSURE YOUR PACKAGE WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, DAMAGED, OR STOLEN PACKAGES.

**If purchasing insurance, which is available to the tab located to the left, you are responsible for filing any claims. We will provide you with a copy of the shipping receipt that we keep upon shipping your items. Please let us know if you need us to provide you with this copy.

**We accept Paypal, Credit Cards (VISA, MASTERCARD, & DISCOVER), checks (must clear bank prior to shipping), and money orders! If you are paying by money order or check the address is provided upon checkout. Cards are not processed by us until your items are packed and ready to go. Please note that we use a SECURE credit card processing method.

**If paying by check or money order payment is expected within 7 business days from date of order receipt. If you are unable to provide payment within the 7 days from date of reciept and you have not communicated with BITPTW regarding payment your order will be cancelled. If you are unable to send the check or money order due to unexpected circumstances please make arrangements with us. We are very accomodating.

**If paying via money order or check, processing of order (our posted turn around time) does not start until the day we receive payment. We will contact you via e-mail to let you know of the day we received your payment in the mail.

 
ORDERING POLICIES:

**I work full time as a Health Planner/Grant Writer, am a mother of a 3 year old, have a family and own/run BITPTW. My turnaround time is estimated and can run up to 15 BUSINESS DAYS. Many factors determine my TAT such as my full time job work load, how Kara is behaving when I am home, spending time with family, and then, how much and what types of things you order. If you order wax melts it may add up to five (5) additional BUSINESS days to the maximum TAT, although this is rare. TATs do not include weekend or holidays. I work really hard to get your order out as quickly as I can. If you are unable to wait the maximum amount of turnaround time it is probably best that you do not order from me at this time.

**I reserve the right to close my website at any time without prior notification. This may happen for vacations, work issues, or to catch up on orders.

**Orders can only be cancelled if they have not already in the process of being made and/or haven't been packaged for shipment. If your order has not been made and/or packed for shipment you are able to cancel it. To find out if your order has been made or packaged you must first contact us to find out and we will notify you of it's progress. Please remember that if it's been made and/or packaged this means there is no refund associated with the order.

**You have the ability to track the shipment status of your order. You MUST have registered before checking out to access this feature. The link is on the home page under the Information tab. Click on "Track Order" and input your login name and password. This will ONLY tell you if the item has shipped. Since we do also send you a tracking email via USPS or Paypal Click N Ship this is just an extra measure of communication on my part. Sometimes customers do not receive their e-mail notices through the click n ships so this extra feature on my site will tell you if it's shipped.

**During sales shipping times may take longer than normal. Estimated turnaround time will be posted on the homepage for sales. As always, our shipping times do not include weekends or holidays.

**If you`re not happy with an item, be it fragrance strength, quality, (etc.) please LET ME KNOW! I can`t fix something and make it right for you if I don`t know about it. I try to make things right by either refunding money, replacing the item or issuing credit. But if you don`t tell me you`re not happy with something, then I don`t know and can`t fix it! I do not issue exchanges or refunds for fragrances you are not happy with. I highly recommend that you request a sniffie sample or order it in a smaller size before purchasing a larger size without knowing how it smells. Since I am a small business I am unable to issue refunds because of a dislike of a fragrance. I ask that you be honest in reporting errors in orders or if you are unhappy with your order. I strive to please each customer!

**Please note that some scents will always have a lighter throw or fragrance in a bath & body product or in tarts as compared to other scents. This is due to the type of scent it is, not the quality of the fragrance oils we use. If you have any questions regarding scent strength please feel free to contact me prior to placing your order.

**Due to the type of business, I am unable to accept returns of products. We do not refund or exchange for scents you do not care for. As I know it is difficult to purchase fragrances over the internet prior to sniffing them, I would encourage you to purchase a Sampler Set or request a sniffie (fees may apply) to test fragrances before committing to larger sizes since items are non-returnable.

**I utilize the USPS Click-N-Ship website to send shipping notices. Sometimes the site acts up and notices are not delivered to the customer. This is not on our end and we always input a request for notice be sent to the customer.

**Products made by BITPTW may not be re-sold on auction sites without my written consent. I do sell wholesale if you are interested in operating your own business.

**I have a great sense of humor and love being in this business! I have met some truly wonderful people. I have so much fun making your products and I hope you have just as much fun playing with them! I am constantly striving to offer you, our customer, new and high quality bath & body products. PRIVACY POLICY:

**BITPTW does not share your name and customer information with the exceptions of incidents of fraud, non-payment for goods, defamation (slander), or anything else constituting criminal/illegal behavior.

**BITPTW has the right to refuse service, although this is extreme, we feel we need to post this under our policies.
